lyrics

Time might kill me
but it won't defeat me
My face is smiling
While my soul is crying

Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone is broken up
Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone all fucked up

I'm looking in the mirror
A weapon of mass construction
They try to tear me down
Give me their frustration

Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone is broken up
Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone all fucked up

I'm looking right through you
You're the stranger I use to know
Stop looking forward to the past
It was never really all that great

Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone is broken up
Up is down and down is up and everything is all screwed up
Up is down and down is up and everyone all fucked up

All the poems have been written
All the cigarette smoked
When you're lying in the gutter
Remember to look up at the stars
